Reproductive AwarnessThe Reproductive Awareness Program(RAP) empower high-risk and high-need youth ages 12-19 throughout Los Angeles County with the knowledge, understanding, and behavioral skills needed to make responsible decisions concerning sexual and reproductive health. JWCH RAP has developed proven strategies and best practices to: 1) optimally delivery comprehensive, medically accurate, unbiased sexual health education; and 2) provide clinical linkages to sexual and reproductive health services to high-need youth.  RAP was established in 1985.  RAP is funded by California Department of Public Health/Maternal, Child and Adolescent Health Division.


To decrease adolescent pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections by educating young people about sexual and reproductive health, providing information on eligibility and access to reproductive health care services, and engaging local communities to promote adolescent health.
