The Skid Row Care Collaborative is a comprehensive medical network in the County of Los Angeles. Whether one needs a doctor for a cold or flu, a dentist for a toothache, a TB or STD test and treatment or on-going medical care for a chronic illness, our physicians and medical staff are here for residents of the area.

This network provides comprehensive medical services for residents living in and around the area. It provides physical and behavioral health services during the day, evenings, and on weekends.

No one is turned away for lack of ability to pay.

Access to these specialists can be obtained with a referral from a primary care provider by calling (213) 285-4268 ext. 7266 and speaking to Vanessa Esquer, Referral Coordinator. No self-referrals. The referral can be faxed to (323) 606-0225 or emailed to vesquer@jwch.org

Care coordination with LACHC begins with a medical provider. To see a specialist, schedule an appointment with a primary care provider by calling (213) 893-1960. A referral is required to receive services. Please fax referrals to (213) 225-2677 for processing.

Behavioral Health Services

Are available at both Wesley Health Centers and Los Angeles Christian Health Centers during regular and extended hours. Appointments can be scheduled via the clinic contact information provided or on a walk-in basis.

Our Behavioral Health Services program addresses the needs of special populations, taking into consideration the disabilities, cultural, linguistic and sexual orientation among all the populations we serve.

All patients presenting themselves at the clinic are eligible for services, regardless of their ability to pay.

We also offer a sliding fee schedule for persons at or below 200% of Federal Poverty Income Guidelines.

The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) consider JWCH Institute, Inc. / Wesley Health Centers and its providers as Public Health Services employees, providing malpractice liability protection under the Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA). This health center is a Health Center Program grantee under 42 U.S.C. 254b, and a deemed Public Health Service employee under 42 U.S.C. 233(g)-(n).
